About the role
- Oversee the conduct and daily operations of biomedical research projects in collaboration with physicians, scientists, or other leaders.
- Work independently and conduct research with minimum supervision.
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of research data or specimen collection, processing, and analysis.
- Make detailed observations, analyze data, and interpret results.
- Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses.
- Maintain familiarity with current scientific literature and investigate, create, or develop new methods and technologies for project advancement.
- Write grants and secure extramural funding.
- Prepare research manuscripts, scientific reviews, abstracts and posters for publication or presentation.
- Participate in scientific conferences, seminars, and training programs.
- Execute research projects and initiatives, organize workflow of project management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree sciences, social sciences, mathematics, analytics, artificial intelligence, public health or related fields.
- 5 years of experience in biomedical research.
- Prior experience in healthcare (preferred).
- Knowledge of biomedical research processes.
- Project management, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong medical writing skills and analytical skills.
- Ability to read papers and present in organized manner.
- Proficiency in project-relevant technical skills, such as programming, machine learning, image analysis, complex statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of data visualization, charts, dashboards, and reporting tools preferred.
- Knowledge of research regulations and compliance policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications, including project-relevant applications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
