About the role

  • Oversee the conduct and daily operations of biomedical research projects in collaboration with physicians, scientists, or other leaders.
  • Work independently and conduct research with minimum supervision.
  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of research data or specimen collection, processing, and analysis.
  • Make detailed observations, analyze data, and interpret results.
  • Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses.
  • Maintain familiarity with current scientific literature and investigate, create, or develop new methods and technologies for project advancement.
  • Write grants and secure extramural funding.
  • Prepare research manuscripts, scientific reviews, abstracts and posters for publication or presentation.
  • Participate in scientific conferences, seminars, and training programs.
  • Execute research projects and initiatives, organize workflow of project management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree sciences, social sciences, mathematics, analytics, artificial intelligence, public health or related fields.
  • 5 years of experience in biomedical research.
  • Prior experience in healthcare (preferred).
  • Knowledge of biomedical research processes.
  • Project management, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong medical writing skills and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read papers and present in organized manner.
  • Proficiency in project-relevant technical skills, such as programming, machine learning, image analysis, complex statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of data visualization, charts, dashboards, and reporting tools preferred.
  • Knowledge of research regulations and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications, including project-relevant applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
