We’re hiring a Project Manager to partner with our client, a growing manufacturing business specializing in woodworking and cabinetry. This role plays a vital part in supporting field project managers and optimizing workflows within their ERP system.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled at driving accountability and clear communication across teams.
Accountability: As a Project Manager, your success will be defined by your ability to accurately maintain project data, balance workloads, and foster clear communication across teams. Your contributions will directly enhance project efficiency and increase capacity across the organization.
ERP System Management: Maintain and update project stages, critical dates, and essential information within the ERP system; Leverage project planning and Kanban tools within the system to monitor progress and identify risks; Support onboarding and training of field project managers on ERP workflows and tools; Generate and analyze reports to inform project tracking and decision-making.
Project Costing and Closeout: Assist in closing out projects by verifying costs, reconciling materials, and approving receipts; Prepare end-of-project summaries highlighting financials and opportunities for improvement.
Material and Work Order Approvals: Submit approvals for project materials and work orders through the ERP system; Collaborate with engineers and customers to confirm material accuracy and suitability.
Communication and Collaboration: Manage customer communication primarily through email, ensuring clarity and professionalism; Use Microsoft Teams to coordinate internally and provide timely updates to project teams; Work closely with field project managers to align on project status and resolve issues promptly.
Workload Balancing and Process Improvement: Own administrative project management tasks; Proactively identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements to streamline workflows and increase overall project capacity.
Colleagues: You will report to the Lead Project Manager, collaborate closely with field project managers and work with other stakeholders in the organization as necessary to aid in business growth. At Oceans, you’ll also receive guidance and support from our Operations Manager, who will help you succeed in the role and ensure that you’re continuously growing and developing in your career.

Requirements
Language Skills: Professional fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience: 3–5 years of project management or operational support experience, ideally within manufacturing or production environments. Experience with ERP systems is essential; familiarity with Innergy ERP is a plus but not required.
Platform Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and ERP software for project management and communication.
Data & Optimization Skills: Basic Microsoft Excel skills for data entry and form completion, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
Tech Fluency: Comfortable navigating various software platforms and adapting rapidly to new systems.
Industry Familiarity: Experience in manufacturing or production environments is preferred. Knowledge of woodworking or cabinetry processes is a plus but not mandatory.
