About the role

  • Responsible for strategic accounts and account/business acquisition in a defined category across all channels
  • Create and execute short and mid-term business strategies and performance according to the account plan
  • Work with all levels of the organization and maintain relationships with global key account leaders
  • Maintain consistent contact with customers and prospects to grow, maintain, and manage assigned sales categories
  • Analyze and validate sales forecasts provided by customers
  • Design strategies and proposals to accelerate inventory movement
  • Identify projects to convert other packaging materials to glass
  • Quote and negotiate prices and contracts to include company and/or industry price increases
  • Communicate significant customer information working effectively with Marketing, Supply Chain, Credit, and Sales Service

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • One to Five (1-5) years of industry or comparable experience
  • Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to work well with the team and other departments
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong PC skills and ease of working with systems, with an emphasis on CRM platforms, Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, SharePoint and SAP
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined
