About the role

  • Support New Product Introduction activities including developing cases for new products, features, opportunity sizing, revenue potential, and cost analysis
  • Champion cross-functional activities to improve performance of product lines including revenue growth, margin improvement, cost reduction, quality and delivery
  • Conduct voice of the customer (VOC), primary, secondary and observational research to facilitate development of product plans, and identification of new products and service opportunities
  • Develop quantified value propositions to clearly articulate differentiation of product to customers, channel partners and sales
  • Support the marketing communications team to develop appropriate collateral support for catalogs, launch kits, competitive alerts, sales communications, instruction sheets, etc.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for data solutions products to support internal team, field sales, channel partners and end customers as required
  • Manage product lifecycle and data analysis for assigned portfolio including ERP, CRM and PIM business systems
  • Suggest and drive process improvements within the product management function to increase efficiency and supporting functions to improve customer experience

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business or related field is required
  • Ideally 3+ years of marketing, project management, data analysis, pricing or new product development experience
  • Experience in the Data Center and/or IT Networking sector or demonstrated mechanical proficiency is preferred
  • Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or JD Edwards and Excel/Power BI or equivalent
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and meet committed deadlines
  • Work will require meeting with customers, suppliers, partners in the field and will include meetings after normal business hours
  • Role will require ~20% travel
