Salary
💰 $123,500 - $229,500 per year
About the role
- Lead and develop a global team, aligning priorities, building technical capability, and ensuring consistent delivery of scalable, high-quality liquid cooling solutions
- Guide system-level design and solution architecture in support of sales and FAEs, including optimization of heat-rejection systems such as coolant distribution units (CDUs), secondary fluid networks, rack and row manifolds, pumps, and hydronic loops
- Support site surveys, design reviews, and deployment planning in collaboration with services and regional teams to ensure clear design intent prior to order placement and installation
- Lead thermofluid and hydraulic analyses—including flow distribution, pressure drop, pump sizing, and system-level performance—to ensure reliability, redundancy, and resiliency in high-density cooling deployments
- Establish and improve standards, sizing methodologies, and product performance tools, maintaining closed-loop feedback with engineering and tool owners to support consistency and scalability
- Engage directly with customers on complex or strategic opportunities, translating voice-of-customer insights into product roadmap priorities, reliability improvements, and serviceability enhancements
- Act as a senior technical liaison across Product Management, Engineering, Services, Sales, and FAEs, aligning teams to customer needs, solution strategy, and execution quality
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal/Fluids Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field; Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- 10+ years of experience in data center cooling design, construction, commissioning, or thermal/fluid systems
- Proven experience leading or mentoring engineering or technical teams, with preference for global or multi-regional leadership
- Hands-on experience designing or supporting high-density liquid cooling systems, including direct-to-chip, immersion cooling, CDUs, rear-door heat exchangers, and manifold-based distribution architectures
- A strong foundation in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and hydraulic systems, including pressure drop analysis and flow balancing, with hands-on experience using CFD and hydronic modeling tools to inform design decisions
- Solid understanding of P&IDs, hydronic loop design, pressure testing, and fluid quality management practices
- The ability to communicate effectively with customers and senior leadership in pre-sales, deployment, and high-impact scenarios
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to support customer engagements, team development, and key deployments.
Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision plans along with flexible spending accounts
- Short-term and long-term disability benefits
- Critical illness, accident insurance and life insurance
- A 401(k) retirement plan and an employee stock purchase plan — both include a company match
