About the role
- Develop and maintain project and/or program clarity of scope, timelines, risks, and interdependencies.
- Set up projects in the project database, assign tasks, take notes, and prepare documentation needed for invoicing.
- Assist with budget tracking, change order management, quality compliance, and updates to project management tools/software.
- Complete tasks and deliverables based on customer schedules and within tight project time frames on multiple concurrent efforts.
- Ensure project deliverables meet technical, regulatory, and quality standards specific to fire protection systems.
- Coordinate effective meetings by preparing necessary information, listening actively, capturing accurate notes, and communicating issues or action items promptly.
- Provide excellent internal and external customer service support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of project or program management experience, preferably within engineering, construction, or fire protection environments.
- Excellent organization, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proficiency with project/program management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or related).
- Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional technical environments.
- Familiarity with budgeting, change order management, and operational planning.
