About the role
- **Responsibilities:**
- · Analyzing internal and external trends to identify growth opportunities and defining company’s long-term direction
- · Setting goals, defining KPIs, monitoring performance, & prioritizing projects to meet org’s strategic objectives
- · Generating new ideas for products, services, or processes to drive growth and create value
- · High priority special initiatives to support org growth and success (e.g., consulting projects)
- · Reviewing business strategy and progress quarterly to ensure close tracking of goals and objectives
- · Preparation of ELT forum agenda and material
- **Summary:**
- This role helps to develop and evolve an enterprise-wide strategic plan, as well as leads key strategy projects across the company. This leader will partner with business segments and support units across the enterprise to evaluate, develop, and review strategic initiatives. Additionally, this leader will interface and manage relationships with external consultants and industry experts for the purposes of strategic analysis and development. A successful leader will proactively provide strategic council to influence business lines on the development of large complex business initiatives to drive our next phase of growth.
- Build thought leadership on the future state of the industry (e.g., the future of money movement) and potential impact to Nuvei’s overall strategy
- This role reports to the Chief Strategy Officer which is oriented as a center of excellence that supports all business segments to drive strategy, new business development, and partnerships.
Requirements
- **Required Qualifications:**
- · Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, marketing, or related field.
- · 10+ years of business experience working in a Financial Industry or management consulting firm driving corporate strategy.
- · 5+ years of leadership experience.
- **Preferred Qualifications:**
- · Master’s degree
- · Ability to effectively work in an organization with colleagues across various reporting structures
- · Excellent influencing, consulting, and communication skills, with the ability to successfully interact with and relate complex technical information to audiences in business terms.
- · Ability to independently manage multiple work efforts, including driving to execution, through key stakeholders across the organization.
- · Strong research and analytical skills with an ability to innovate (i.e., think outside the box) to come up with optimal solutions.
- · Methodological thinker, with strong experience with process mapping.
- · Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
- · Align cross-functional goals and priorities against strategic initiatives
- · Acute attention to detail with an ability to identify or discover trends or themes.
- · Analytical thought process and ability to determine paths of action and make recommendations to remediate issues.
- · Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- · Excellent organizational skills, able to coordinate multiple projects and flexible at adjusting assigned priorities when needed.
- · Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
