About the role
- Provide technical and maintenance intervention guidance for rotating assets to enhance plant reliability.
- Act as a subject matter expert in reliability focused studies including root cause analysis (RCA).
- Supervise coordinates and manage the execution of Maintenance and Engineering projects.
- Provides coordination and supervision of outside contractors or consultants.
- Analyze rotating equipment deficiencies and/or failures and recommends corrective actions.
- Develop major overhaul scopes for plant equipment based on known problems and machinery performance.
- Provide both formal and informal training to maintenance and operations personnel.
Requirements
- BS degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline is required.
- 5+ years of experience in chemical plant or similar environment with responsibilities involving process engineering, maintenance, or operations is required.
- Demonstrated Expertise in Turbomachinery and related equipment is required.
- Working Knowledge and Understanding of relevant API and ASME codes and recommended practice is required.
- Knowledge of asset protection and condition monitoring hardware including vibration analysis is required.
- Professional Engineering Designation preferred.
- Knowledge of ammonia, urea, and nitric acid manufacturing processes is preferred.
