About the role
- Model core value of safety and enable a culture contributing to a safe work environment
- Develop/manage category strategies for assigned categories by driving the category playbook
- Partner with stakeholders to operationalize results and manage comprehensive change management strategy
- Build a team of Category Managers, Specialists and Analysts to develop sub-category strategies
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with suppliers, defining KPIs and best practices for supplier performance
- Collaborate with peer teams to address Nutrien-wide synergies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Business, Engineering, or similar discipline
- 10+ years relevant experience in category management, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, project management, engineering, or equivalent
- 4+ years of leadership experience ideally within a supply chain function
- Hands-on experience with specialty services category sourcing activities.
- Broad experience in supply chain, source-to-contract and source-to-pay processes and tools
- Analytical abilities and experience using quantitative insights to make decisions and influence stakeholders.
