About the role

  • Apply Nutrien’s decision quality frameworks and rigorous analysis to guide complex operational and strategic decisions.
  • Play a major role in shaping and executing enterprise-level initiatives critical to Nutrien’s Nitrogen business, ensuring alignment with long-term growth and competitive advantage.
  • Partner with site teams and SMEs to develop, prepare, and assess investment projects (e.g., plant expansions, process improvements) and steward them through approval process.
  • Build strong partnerships across Operations, Commercial, Corporate Strategy, and Finance to align priorities, share insights, and drive coordinated execution of improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred, or related discipline).
  • 10+ years of progressive engineering experience in industrial/manufacturing environments, ideally in chemical/process industries or fertilizer production.
  • Proven track record in operational excellence, process optimization, and capital project management.
  • P.Eng. registration or eligibility preferred.
  • Additional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP, MBA , CFA , and CFA considered assets.
