About the role
- Ensure completion of transactional intercompany activities within the team
- Monitor intercompany approvals and recurring charges
- Generate and review transaction processing error reports, including ERP issues
- Post manual entries at month end and input receivables/payables for netting and repayment activities
- Validate payment proposal and track unpaid balances
- Review and approve journal entries for intercompany transactions between legal entities
- Review consolidated intercompany balance sheet reconciliation
- Support dispute resolution with the business
- Collaborate in creation of standard operating procedures
- Review and advise on terms of intercompany agreements
- Analyze and monitor intercompany foreign currency exposures
- Identify opportunities to improve intercompany processes
- Participate in projects as required
- Perform monthly account reconciliations
Requirements
- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA)
- minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- ability to embrace change and have a “process improvement” mindset
- excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills with a high attention to detail
- demonstrated time management skills to meet deadlines
- flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- knowledge of IFRS
- knowledge of Oracle, SAP ECC, SAP S4, BPC and PeopleSoft are an asset
- advanced level Excel skills
