About the role

  • Design, implement, and manage Oracle database environments ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Administer and support Oracle EBS 12.2.x, Oracle 19c, and WebLogic Server environments
  • Perform core DBA functions including installation, patching, cloning, backup, recovery, and performance tuning
  • Define and enforce database standards, security policies, and operational procedures
  • Monitor and optimize database performance; proactively resolve issues and ensure system stability
  • Support data integrity, security controls, and compliance requirements
  • Participate in architecture discussions, influencing platform strategy and roadmap
  • Manage database deployments across on-prem and cloud environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across EBS and integrated applications
  • Build and maintain automation tools for monitoring and managing large-scale systems
  • Contribute to new projects, including database architecture design and platform evolution

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments
  • Strong expertise in Oracle 19c (or newer) on Linux/Unix, including RAC environments
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12.2.x administration (upgrades, migrations, support)
  • Proven experience with Oracle WebLogic Server (installation, configuration, patching, upgrades)
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting
  • Experience in performance tuning, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to build automation tools for monitoring and system management
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
