About the role

  • Perform Systems Analyst work as a member of the IT PMO team, overseeing one or more projects concurrently.
  • Complete evaluations of existing and future capabilities, conduct research into solution alternatives, and enhance system capabilities.
  • Participate in joint application design sessions with customers and IT staff to define business requirements and develop software systems requirements.
  • Communicate with users to determine requirements of new processes/applications or modifications to existing ones.
  • Be actively involved in implementations and upgrades in a low code platform; perform system configuration and document business processes.
  • Use standardized project management processes, tools and techniques; prepare project documentation with attention to detail and strong organization.
  • Develop test artifacts, conduct testing including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and develop training documentation.
  • Work closely with developers to track defects and resolutions and assist in diagnosing application problems with detailed specifications to improve system performance.
  • Assist with creating, maintaining and enforcing global standards and perform other analysis and documentation tasks to support team projects.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years: Analyzing data from a variety of source systems and different database technologies using SQL.
  • 4-7 years: Designing, developing and validating reports, data visualization and dashboards using Tableau (building/publishing customized interactive reports and dashboards; report scheduling using Tableau Server; creating action filters, parameters and calculated sets; developing workbooks from multiple data sources using Data Blending; publishing reports).
  • 4-7 years: Gathering, analyzing and generating data visualization requirements for a data warehouse.
  • 4-7 years: Experience in working on a data warehouse (both relational and dimensional) team.
  • 4-7 years: Experience in translating requirements into data visualization needs.
  • 4-7 years: Experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
  • 4-7 years: Mentoring and training junior Tableau developers.
  • Preferred 4-7 years: Experience in Public Sector delivery.
  • Preferred 4-7 years: Texas Workforce Commission experience.
