About the role
- Manage all provider credentialing and recredentialing processes
- Collaborate with provider partners and internal customers
- Supervise and provide guidance to assigned staff
- Develop annual budgets
- Utilize lean methodologies for continuous improvement
- Maintain open communication with practitioners regarding credentialing
Requirements
- Minimum of five years health insurance experience
- At least three years credentialing experience
- Three years of experience managing teams in a health care environment
- High school or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare delivery, NCQA and HIPAA
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Databases and credentialing software programs
