About the role
- Manage all provider credentialing, recredentialing, and document management processes
- Collaborate with provider partners and internal customers
- Supervise and provide guidance to assigned staff
- Participate in hiring and training processes
- Develop annual budgets and monitor spending
- Actively participate in strategic and internal committees
- Continually assess and improve credentialing team processes
- Develop and implement systems for compliance
Requirements
- Minimum of five years health insurance experience
- At least three years credentialing experience
- Three years of experience managing teams in a health care environment
- High school or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare delivery, NCQA and HIPAA are essential
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Databases and credentialing software programs
