About the role
- Manage multiple projects from concept to execution while overseeing complex processes and system interdependencies
- Guide a cross-functional team through the Design Thinking and/or Agile processes
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure ongoing alignment on project goals
- Build and maintain relationships within the business as well as 3rd party vendors, suppliers, and consultants
- Establish clear goals, plans, and timelines, galvanizing the team towards achieving project milestones
- Ensure high-quality results by employing the best practices in project management
- Provide risk and resource management by anticipating bottlenecks and prioritizing projects
- Serve as a change agent by considering strategic objectives and evaluating customer impacts
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in either project management and/or leadership role
- Knowledge of user-centered design and Design Thinking methodologies
- Knowledge of software development best practices such as Agile methodologies
- Bachelor of Science degree in technical fields such as Engineering, Business, Computer Science, etc. (preferred)
- Experience applying PMI project management framework to manage projects (preferred)
- Certifications such as PMP, Agile, and/or Design Thinking (preferred)
