About the role
- The Sales Representative (Sales Rep) will be primarily responsible for taking care of our customers by building and sustaining strong, engaged relationships.
- This includes assisting in the development of an effective territory marketing plan, as well as capturing market volume and executing our pricing strategy.
- This role calls for a high level of collaboration with sales and non-sales teammates within the entire Vulcraft/Verco group in order to drive enterprise-wide results.
- The Sales Rep must be willing and able to travel frequently.
- Must be willing to relocate to the Houston area (if applicable).
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of customer facing commercial/service experience in the steel or construction industry.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in the Steel Construction industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Construction Mgt., or related field.
