About the role

  • Maintain teammate records including personal information, leave requests, benefits, and internal movement while ensuring compliance and a seamless teammate experience.
  • Coordinate and deliver an organized, positive onboarding experience for new hires and internal transfers.
  • Administering Nucor benefit plans and financial transactions by working with internal customers and multiple benefit providers.
  • Stay up to date on employment laws and HR processes ensuring Nucor remains compliant with all relevant regulations.
  • Generate, analyze, and interpret HR data and reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support Nucor’s compensation cycles, including annual planning and bonus preparation.
  • Contribute to various HR projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, improving teammate experience, and driving operational excellence.
  • Develop and deliver engaging HR communication that support teammate understanding of programs, processes, and broader organizational updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related field
  • 2 years’ administration experience in HR or related field.
  • 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software
  • SuccessFactors Applicant Tracking System Experience
  • Learning Management System Experience
