About the role

  • Responsible for human resources related functions including onboarding/termination processing
  • Payroll processing
  • Community outreach
  • Maintenance of Nucor University data
  • Backup to all other HR functions
  • Work collaboratively with the division leadership team to inspire the entire operation.
  • Lead and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

  • One to two years of Human Resources experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources management (preferred)
  • Experience with processing payroll utilizing SAP (preferred)
  • Experience processing local, state and Federal taxes (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) (preferred)
