About the role
- Responsible for human resources related functions including onboarding/termination processing
- Payroll processing
- Community outreach
- Maintenance of Nucor University data
- Backup to all other HR functions
- Work collaboratively with the division leadership team to inspire the entire operation.
- Lead and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Requirements
- One to two years of Human Resources experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources management (preferred)
- Experience with processing payroll utilizing SAP (preferred)
- Experience processing local, state and Federal taxes (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) (preferred)
