About the role
- The Inside Sales Representative works in a team environment to professionally represent the Nucor Steel Plate Group with team members and customers on a daily basis.
- Handle all calls and requests for information in a professional manner while working accurately and timely.
- Coordinate with customers and team members across the Nucor Plate Group to sell and service customers;
- Provide appropriate pricing and availability to customers on inquiries;
- Provide timely status updates to customers;
- Enter customer orders timely and accurately with attention to detail.
- Some travel will be required for customer visits, dinners, and industry functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree of Business or equivalent years of related work experience in industrial sales or customer service.
- High level of proficiency using Microsoft Tools
- Willingness to travel
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
