About the role

  • Receiving/entering all raw material warehouse and steel products.
  • Receiving/verifying inventory amounts daily.
  • Receiving MRO all other purchased category items for the division.
  • Completing inventory tracking and investigating discrepancies.
  • Managing cycle counts and physical inventory counts with the plant.
  • Preparing reports.
  • Month end reporting for receiving and allocation of materials to jobs.
  • Completing inventory adjustments and inventory movement with outside processors.
  • Addressing any inventory concerns from internal customers.
  • Filing and scanning of inventory documents including MTR’s.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven commitment to safety
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft office applications
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to plan around month/year end closings.
  • Previous experience with purchasing or inventory control (preferred)
  • Ability to analyze and think strategically (preferred)
