About the role
- Receiving/entering all raw material warehouse and steel products.
- Receiving/verifying inventory amounts daily.
- Receiving MRO all other purchased category items for the division.
- Completing inventory tracking and investigating discrepancies.
- Managing cycle counts and physical inventory counts with the plant.
- Preparing reports.
- Month end reporting for receiving and allocation of materials to jobs.
- Completing inventory adjustments and inventory movement with outside processors.
- Addressing any inventory concerns from internal customers.
- Filing and scanning of inventory documents including MTR’s.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven commitment to safety
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft office applications
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to plan around month/year end closings.
- Previous experience with purchasing or inventory control (preferred)
- Ability to analyze and think strategically (preferred)
