About the role
- As a member of the senior leadership team reporting directly to the General Manager, the Division CFO is an integral part of developing and executing on the division’s business strategy.
- Responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring strong governance and controls, and leadership of Finance, HR, Legal, and IT functions to support the business.
- Own the division’s overall financial strategy, including forecasting, working capital management, and capital allocation.
- Oversee all financial reporting functions, including accounting close, internal controls, and GAAP and Corporate policy compliance.
- Understand, monitor, and effectively communicate KPI’s throughout the business to create actionable business insights that drive outcomes.
- Develop and implement processes and workflows to maximize resources using technology and systems.
- Provide legal oversight and support for commercial activities, purchasing contracts, and all other legal activities within the business.
- Provide oversight for shared service IT functions to ensure division security, teammate support, and technology advancement to support division strategies.
- Lead division talent strategy, including talent acquisition and teammate growth and development; ensure consistent application and administration of HR policies.
- Actively participate and drive the division’s safety efforts.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships to lead across the business.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in an applicable field
- CPA, CMA or MBA
- At least three years of work experience in financial related leadership positions
- Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing business (preferred)
- Prior leadership of HR department (preferred)
- Knowledge and competency in contract language (preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (preferred)
- Experience utilizing AI tools to drive efficiencies in business functions (preferred)
- Willingness to relocate for future leadership opportunities (preferred)
