About the role

  • Responsible for supporting and engaging production associates, ensuring that daily production goals and quality standards are met and maintained
  • Inventory control management

  • Ensure the production process and inspections meet the highest quality standards
  • Support daily production operations by prioritizing, scheduling, and directing the work of assigned associates
  • Continually evaluate processes and methods, recommend measures to improve production methods, performance, quality of product
  • Communicate and maintain close contact with Operations Manager, Operations Supervisors, Leads and associates
  • Review and schedule daily labor requirements with Operations Manager
  • Prepare, analyze and submit data/reports to other departments
  • Develop, empower and lead a strong, cohesive team
  • Facilitate training and development opportunities for associates
  • Serve as a resource for production associates

Requirements

  • Work 2nd shift schedule Monday - Thursday from 3:00pm - 1:30am
  • Strong manufacturing background
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage more than one task at a time
  • Ability to read and interpret reports, work instructions and blueprints
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to develop, empower and lead a team
  • Ability to collaborate and function as a member of a team
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Ability and means to travel as needed, proof of valid driver’s license, liability and property damage insurance on personal vehicle used is required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
