About the role
- Guide finance team towards achieving excellence
- Collaborate with managers to analyze financial, operational, and key performance metrics
- Engage with Leadership Team to promote strong collaboration, transparency, and teamwork
- Oversee training, development, and growth opportunities of finance department personnel
- Responsible for general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, tax, financial and compliance reporting, forecasting
- Assist with annual budget, monthly balancing, inventory management, and timely reporting of accounting records/transactions
- Supervise external and internal audit processes to ensure proper internal controls are maintained
- Provide analytical support to other departments concerning accounting issues
- Drive continuous cost improvements across all facets of the business
- Uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in a financial related position
- CPA, CMA, Master’s Degree, or MBA (preferred)
- Manufacturing or Cost Accounting experience
- Leadership/supervisory experience
- Microsoft D365 experience
- Desire to pursue promotion
- Open to possible relocation
