About the role

  • Responsible for the full scope of HR activities including hiring and recruiting
  • Collaborate to manage and execute college recruiting, marketing and partnership strategies
  • Immigration and required reporting
  • Personal development activities
  • Salary administration and overseeing all payroll activities
  • Preparation, filing and reconciliation of state and federal tax returns
  • Preparation of W-2s and submission of all payroll reporting
  • Serve as a divisional leader
  • Coach and counsel on various employment related matters
  • Maintain state and federal regulatory compliance requirements
  • Review and update policy and procedure manuals
  • Oversee the administration and tracking of leave programs
  • Stay up to date on HR trends and legal regulations
  • Recommend and implement changes as necessary
  • Create and present functional training topics including harassment and diversity
  • Assist with Corporate training requirements, division-wide communications and investigations as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field with 3+ years related HR experience OR Associate's degree with 5+ years of related HR experience
  • Experience with federal and state employment law
  • HR certification through HCRI or SHRM (preferred)
  • Master’s Degree in HR (preferred)
  • 3+ Years Human Resource experience in manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • 1+ Year experience working with SAP or SuccessFactors (preferred)
  • 3+ Years supervisory or leadership experience (preferred)
  • Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
