About the role
- Acquire scientific knowledge and expertise across different therapy areas
- Provide scientific and strategic consultation and manage professional relations with leading academics
- Develop a range of medical affairs and disease state education projects
- Lead a team to deliver a range of services to clients using strong project management skills and scientific expertise
- Work within assigned account(s) to manage and ensure projects and services are delivered based on clients' business needs
- Oversee projects, deadlines, budgets, and team assignments
- Support existing client business development and potential new business to achieve agreed-upon financial targets
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in life sciences (advanced degree preferred)
- 3+ years experience working in a medical communications agency or ad agency working on medical affairs projects
- Solid project management skills including financial budgeting skills
- Strong ability to work well within a team
- Exceptional client relations and communication skills
- Working knowledge or previous experience utilizing Veeva, a plus
