About the role
- Manage and grow scientific team responsible for delivery of a full range of strategic medical communications / Peer-to-peer programs
- Ensure the creation of high quality, accurate medical / scientific content with ability to expand management responsibilities as team grows
- Embed team with clients / accounts and grow business beyond current state
- Identify and develop strategic and tactical business recommendations relevant to client strategy and marketplace needs
- Develop / lead / facilitate key strategy workshops
- Demonstrate a high level of comfort articulating scientific and therapeutic information for multiple clients / therapeutic categories
- Foster innovation and collaboration across Nucleus Global to position agency as leader in medical affairs medical communications
Requirements
- PhD, PharmD, MD with 8+ years of relevant medical communications experience, with an in-depth understanding of medical affairs medical communications
- Track record of successful scientific leadership across several clients/therapeutic categories
- US and / or global launch experience
- Oncology experience a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing staff / direct reports
