About the role
- Work with clients to understand their operational needs and configure tools and workflows that support digital engineering delivery, including AVEVA, Hexagon, Bentley, Autodesk.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients in a virtual environment, including mentoring, training, and creating documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute multi-year project roadmaps enabling digital engineering programs using PDMS software.
- Conduct design reviews and status meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
- Perform market research on emerging trends, identify and test new software related to Digital Twins or BIM, and assess application for client requirements.
- Develop proposals, detailed work plans, project schedules, and deliverables independently and with internal teams.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of industry-standard BIM and Digital Transformation platforms (e.g., AVEVA, Hexagon, Bentley, Autodesk) and the ability to configure, deploy, and support them in project environments.
- Skilled at standardizing and reviewing structured and unstructured data so it can be effectively ingested by these platforms, with attention to usability and accuracy.
- Experience in the implementation and integration of BIM and digital engineering software across both brownfield and greenfield projects.
- Practical understanding of applicable information standards (e.g., CFIHOS, UK BIM Standards PAS 1192, ISO 19650 Series) and their exchange methods (IFC, DEXPI, COBie), with the ability to apply them directly in project workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to support end users through mentoring, training, and troubleshooting.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
