About the role

  • Incident Management: Analyze, document, and resolve operational incidents (~20% of working time), including escalation and coordination within the team.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience operating and administering cloud and network architectures (e.g., data centers, enterprise environments).
  • Strong skills in automation and DevOps (e.g., Python, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).
  • Analytical mindset, self-driven work style, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
  • Familiarity with common office and collaboration tools.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative in a multicultural environment.
  • Professional communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Reliability, flexibility, and proactive approach to challenges.
  • EVPN/VXLAN Fabric Services Operation of multi-AZ Cisco Nexus 9k CLOS fabric; VXLAN data-plane, EVPN control-plane, MP-BGP/OSPF underlay; multi-chassis LAG; route-reflectors; automation via templates; 99.99% availability.
  • 5+ years in DC fabric operations on Cisco NX-OS 9k series.
  • Certifications: CCNP Enterprise or Data Center; CCIE Data Center ideal.
  • Security Clearance: SÜ2 within Germany required.
