About the role
- Provide end-to-end architecture consulting focused on infrastructure
- Design network infrastructures (LAN, WLAN, data center networks, WAN, and cloud networks)
- Analyze and optimize existing networks to improve performance and security
- Ensure network security using firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS and other protective measures
- Integrate new technologies and collaborate with IT teams, developers, and external partners
- Document network topology and develop policies and standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents
- Train customers on network architecture and best practices
- Provide pre- and post-sales consulting
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification
- 10+ years of experience in network and IT infrastructures
- Strong knowledge of SDN, SDDC, routing, switching, and network security
- Experience with Cisco, HPE Aruba, Arista or comparable technologies
- Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and virtualization
- Familiarity with open-source environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- Broad IT knowledge with a basic understanding of other core IT areas such as compute, storage, backup, containerization—both on-premises and in private/public cloud
- Good communication skills (German & English) and the ability to work effectively in a team
