About the role

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow modules, with a focus on ITSM and either ITOM or SAM
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective platform solutions
  • Challenging and refining existing implementations to ensure alignment with business value and best practices
  • Working across multiple ServiceNow areas, demonstrating flexibility and platform-wide expertise
  • Ensuring configurations and customizations are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with our technology strategy
  • Participating in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
  • Providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience with ServiceNow, particularly in ITSM and one of ITOM or SAM
  • Deep understanding of ITSM processes and best practices
  • Ability to critically assess and improve platform solutions
  • Versatility across different ServiceNow modules and functionalities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or relevant module certifications would be nice to have
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments would be a plus
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript and GlideScript within ServiceNow
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English
