About the role
- Designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow modules, with a focus on ITSM and either ITOM or SAM
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective platform solutions
- Challenging and refining existing implementations to ensure alignment with business value and best practices
- Working across multiple ServiceNow areas, demonstrating flexibility and platform-wide expertise
- Ensuring configurations and customizations are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with our technology strategy
- Participating in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
- Providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven experience with ServiceNow, particularly in ITSM and one of ITOM or SAM
- Deep understanding of ITSM processes and best practices
- Ability to critically assess and improve platform solutions
- Versatility across different ServiceNow modules and functionalities
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or relevant module certifications would be nice to have
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments would be a plus
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript and GlideScript within ServiceNow
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English
