About the role

  • Independently manage and coordinate bids in the public sector (EU‑wide & national)
  • Analyze tender documents (e.g., statements of work/specifications, EVB‑IT, award criteria)
  • Coordinate all subject‑matter inputs and ensure a smooth bid process
  • Responsible for reviews, approvals, compliance and escalation management
  • Prepare presentations and actively support customer and contract negotiations
  • Document the bid process and conduct win/loss reviews

Requirements

  • Completed degree in business administration, law, or a comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years' experience in bid management, ideally with public‑sector clients (federal, state, municipal authorities, agencies, public enterprises)
  • Solid knowledge of procurement law (GWB, VgV, UVgO) and experience with EVB‑IT contracts
  • Basic knowledge of contract law and the ability to work to deadlines and meet delivery dates
  • Substantial experience in sales or sales‑related roles and proven experience preparing and conducting customer negotiations
  • Accuracy and strong analytical skills combined with technical affinity and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent MS Office skills and confident use of project management tools such as Microsoft Planner, MS Project, Jira or Confluence to manage complex bid processes
  • Practical experience using AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) to analyze tenders, structure and create bid content
  • Fluent German and very good written and spoken English
  • A confident manner when dealing with public‑sector clients and strong negotiation skills complete your profile
