About the role
- Develop and execute strategic go-to-market plans to identify, target, and acquire new GCC clients (new logos) in India.
- Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers (CXOs, CIOs, CHROs) within target client organizations and the broader industry.
- Conduct consultative selling by understanding client needs, challenges, and business objectives, then collaborating with cross-functional teams (solution architects, consultants, delivery teams) to develop and present tailored proposals and solutions.
- Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring accurate forecasting and deal governance.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure new business deals, working closely with legal and finance teams to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Stay abreast of GCC industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes, leveraging this knowledge to refine strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets (quotas) consistently.
Requirements
- 10+ years of proven sales/business development experience in IT services, consulting, or a related industry.
- Strong experience selling to enterprise clients or, specifically, to Global Capability Centers/GICs in India.
- Demonstrated success in achieving multi-million-dollar sales targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is often preferred).
- Deep understanding of the GCC ecosystem, operational models (e.g., Build-Operate-Transfer), and business culture in the Middle East region.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong consultative and solution-selling capabilities, with an aptitude for building strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM software and market analysis tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
