About the role
- Take on a central role in the strategic expansion of business within defined customer segments of the telecommunications, media and technology industries
- Leverage strong networks, industry expertise and technological understanding to identify new opportunities
- Own responsibility for specific customer segments in the telco, media and technology sectors
- Systematically increase revenue, pipeline and win rate in bids and tenders
- Actively position NTT DATA’s technology portfolio, including offerings, services and assets, with decision-makers up to C-level
- Win strategic projects to successfully integrate our onshore and shoring teams into new customer engagements
- Develop compelling value propositions and present them confidently to client leadership
- Work closely with delivery, portfolio and presales teams to orchestrate innovative solutions
- Act as a driver for new topics with a growth mindset to develop the business
Requirements
- Several years of experience in IT consulting or the IT services sector within the telco, media or technology industries
- Detailed knowledge of the challenges, structures and processes of telecommunications providers, media companies or technology firms
- Technical and domain expertise in complex topics such as cloud, AI, architecture or modernization
- Excellent network in the telco, media and technology sectors, ideally up to C-level
- Proven track record acquiring, developing and managing projects at the intersection of business, IT and strategy
- Strong business development and sales mindset with a clear customer focus
- Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills in German and English
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
