About the role

  • You develop holistic target architectures and transformation roadmaps based on our clients' business strategies and design scalable platform and integration architectures for complex, highly available system landscapes.
  • You derive concrete, actionable solution architectures that serve as a reliable foundation for delivery teams, lead developers and solution architects.
  • You work closely with business and IT stakeholders up to C-level and establish NTT DATA as a strategic consulting partner.
  • You mediate differing interests and create sound decision-making bases.
  • You define architectural visions, principles, blueprints and governance models across business, application, data and technology layers.
  • You contribute your enterprise architecture expertise to pre-sales, complex tenders and proposal processes, shaping clients' decision spaces, storylines and investment logic at an early stage.
  • You coach and coordinate architects in project and sales contexts and actively contribute to the expansion of our architecture community. In doing so, you actively shape the professional direction and maturity of our enterprise architecture practice.
  • You monitor relevant technology and market trends in telco, media and technology domains and translate them into concrete value for our clients.

Requirements

  • You hold a degree in IT or a comparable qualification and have industry experience in telco, media and technology environments and are familiar with complex stakeholder and decision-making structures.
  • You bring at least 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, ideally in IT consulting or in large, complex organizations.
  • You think about architecture consistently from the business perspective and connect business models, processes and technologies into consistent target pictures.
  • You have solid experience with enterprise architecture standards and methods such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, SAFe, COBIT, arc42 or comparable approaches.
  • You have deep expertise in several domains, e.g. Cloud & Hybrid IT, Application Modernization, DevOps, Security, platform or integration architectures, and a good understanding of using AI technologies across the different domains of enterprise architecture.
  • You have experience with industry-typical core systems and integration patterns in the telco, media and technology environment, e.g. in the interplay of content, data and distribution platforms.
  • You demonstrate strong consulting, communication and presentation skills in German and English.
