About the role
- Develop holistic target architectures and transformation roadmaps for mission-critical systems with high requirements for stability, security and governance
- Derive concrete, implementable solution architectures that serve as a reliable foundation for delivery teams, lead developers and solution architects
- Collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders up to C‑level and position NTT DATA as a strategic advisory partner
- Facilitate differing interests and produce robust decision-making foundations
- Define architecture visions, principles, blueprints and governance models across business, application, data and technology layers
- Apply enterprise-architecture expertise in pre-sales, complex tenders and proposal processes to influence customers' decision spaces, storylines and investment logic
- Coach and coordinate architects in project and sales contexts and actively contribute to the growth of the architecture community
- Monitor relevant technology and market trends in the public and energy sectors and translate them into tangible value for customers
Requirements
- Degree in IT or an equivalent qualification
- Experience in public sector or regulated environments
- At least 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture
- Experience in IT consulting or in large, complex organizations
- Solid experience with enterprise architecture standards and methods such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, SAFe, COBIT, arc42 or comparable approaches
- Deep expertise across multiple domains, e.g., Cloud & Hybrid IT, application modernization, DevOps, security, platform or integration architectures
- Solid understanding of applying AI technologies across the various domains of enterprise architecture
- Experience with industry-specific business applications and integration patterns in the public and energy sectors
- Strong consulting, communication and presentation skills in German and English
- Ability to act as a trusted sparring partner at eye level within complex organizational and governance structures
