About the role
- Partnering with Account Directors / Project Directors to understand client objectives and shape recommended event solutions
- Acting as the day-to-day client contact for projects or defined workstreams, managing expectations and requests proactively
- Building and owning strong client relationships alongside senior stakeholders
- Managing client communications, call cadence and workstream meetings
- Using client and attendee feedback to make data-driven recommendations for improvement
- Leading end-to-end delivery of small to medium-sized events (50–3,000 pax), from executive forums to large conferences
- Owning a defined workstream within larger, complex programmes (e.g. Venue & Logistics, Furniture & Foliage, Security, Transport)
- Creating and maintaining robust project documentation including timelines, trackers and client handbooks
- Managing vendors and suppliers to ensure delivery meets Nteractive and client standards
- Ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are consistently met
- Leading projects onsite as the main event lead, solving problems in real time and adapting plans as required
- Leading and supporting project teams of up to ~25 people
- Coaching and mentoring more junior team members
Requirements
- Significant project management experience at a similar level within an agency environment
- Proven delivery of complex conferences and live events
- Deep experience managing logistics-heavy workstreams (venue, security, transport, temp staff, furniture etc.)
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including contract negotiation
- Experience managing budgets up to £5m / $5m
- Experience briefing and collaborating with creative, production and technical production teams
- Advanced Excel skills; confident with PowerPoint and general ICT tools
- Experience using project management tools such as Monday, Smartsheet or Asana (desirable)
