About the role

  • Support operational and logistical backbone of Powered by Faith initiative
  • Coordinate across internal systems, external partners, and senior leaders; manage calendars, timelines, task lists
  • Prepare, schedule, facilitate meetings; support materials, agendas, notetaking, and follow-up
  • Serve as main point of contact for operational coordination with Amalgamated Charitable Foundation
  • Coordinate virtual and in-person convenings including tech setup, vendor management, contracts, materials, participant outreach
  • Maintain documentation of plans, budgets, deliverables, and contracts
  • Manage grant administration: liaise with fiscal sponsor, Lead Organizer, faith leads, funders; submit proposals and reports; ensure fund disbursement
  • Finalize and execute contracts with Powered by Faith leadership
  • Manage file organization, team tools, and project dashboards; assist with editing and production of materials
  • Track deliverables and timelines for cohort leaders, advisory team, and partners
  • Stay grounded in initiative values and anticipate needs for cross-faith alignment and cohesion

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in nonprofit, movement, or campaign environments with administrative or coordination responsibilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage complex workstreams and stakeholders
  • Clear, effective written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and professionalism
  • Comfort working with people of diverse backgrounds and respect for faith traditions and spiritual language
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, Notion, and project management platforms
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment while maintaining coordination
  • Familiarity with or interest in faith-based organizing, narrative change, or pro-democracy efforts is a plus
