• Develop political communications toolkits and provide training to state partners on safe and strategic 501(c)4 messaging (e.g., voter guides, scorecards, accountability narratives).
• Coordinate earned media and digital strategies to elevate child care as a defining political issue in the 2026 cycle.
• Collaborate with states on communications plans for key moments (recess actions, accountability launches, scorecard releases).
• Ensure all political messaging reinforces the national narrative framework and broader federal campaign while also aligning with long-term movement messaging and overall vision.
• Lead media and message trainings for state partners and spokespeople.
• Coach campaign spokespeople on effective messaging and media engagement.
• Provide narrative and messaging support to political strategy and campaign work.
• Clarify and maintain political communications protocols and compliance guidance to ensure alignment with legal requirements and national strategy.
• Develop candidate and issue-area campaign materials including talking points, social media content, literature, ads, voter contact scripts and candidate toolkits.
• Run targeted digital campaigns.
• Utilize EveryAction and other organizing platforms to develop user-friendly actions that build audiences and engagement.
• Implement online to offline organizing strategies.
• Provide communications support for lobbying efforts, including one-pagers, story packets, values-based talking points, and district-level data visuals.
• Participate in Lobby Team meetings to coordinate closely with legislative strategy and bring asks, information, and updates to Communications & Narrative Work Group meetings.
• Lead communications strategy to socialize the Vision Bill through toolkits, explainer content, sample op-eds, and coordinated earned media.
• Launch and manage a movement-wide, vision-focused storytelling campaign that centers families and providers.
• Support development of joint messaging frameworks and narrative alignment tools to position child care within broader justice and economic policy fights.
• Strengthen relationships with allied movements and national partners to support coordinated communications strategies.
• Maintain rapid coordination channels with Network partners to respond to federal threats and opportunities.
• Develop rapid response tools (talking points, social templates, press guidance) to support state and federal mobilization during key moments.
• Support with overall Network communications as needed.

Campaign Communications Director

• Provide strategic vision and direction for our work, shifting the narrative around labor, workers, and our economy
• Supervise at least one communications specialist, ensuring they have consistent work plans, feedback, and coaching
• Manage digital communications to support campaigns with emails, action alerts, and other communications efforts
• Represent the organization and provide strategic communications support to coalitions
• Manage and help execute an annual communications plan
• Support the development of worker leaders by coaching worker leaders and training staff

• Write well-documented reports based on data analysis for various stakeholders including policymakers, regulators, institutional investors, grassroots organizations, and the media.

Healthcare Director – Private Equity Stakeholder Project

Director

Climate Director – Private Equity Stakeholder Project

Manager

• Manage outgoing grants from proposal intake to award, amendments, reporting, and closeout.
• Manage contracts from scope of work intake, amendments, invoice tracking, and closeout.
• Work closely with the Program Team to forecast grantmaking and contract investments for all foundation programs.
• Ensure that grant agreements and contracts are executed legally, appropriately, and efficiently.
• Provide administrative and financial oversight by ensuring invoices conform to grant or contract terms, and are reviewed, processed, and paid in a timely manner.
• Work with Program Team on project accounting and reconciliation.
• Assist with the creation of quarterly dockets.
• Research and analyze grant requests; assist with drafting write ups.
• Draft grant agreements and contracts.
• Perform financial due diligence on potential grantee organizations.
• Develop templates and formats.
• In coordination with program staff, professionally represent Water Foundation in calls, meetings and correspondence with applicants, grantees, and contractors.
• Maintain and optimize the grants management system ensuring accurate data entry, and timely workflow routing.
• Track direct and indirect lobbying.
• Work with counsel to prepare lobbying reports.
• Flag potential legal issues for review by counsel.
• Work with grantees and program officers to assist in identifying direct and indirect lobbying.
• Support in the Water Foundation’s annual audit.
• Use grant management software effectively; configure fields, workflows, dashboards, and other reporting tools to meet needs of all stakeholders.
• Maintain clear auditable documentation; ensure data integrity through consistent, high-quality data entry and oversight.
• Identify procedural and substantive areas for improving efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness of grantmaking and contracts management.
• Continuously improves systems in partnership with operations colleagues based on user feedback and best practices.
• Train colleagues to use and understand the grants management system, planning tools, and policies and procedures.
• Engage with grantees, contractors, or members of the public to provide timely, consistent information.
• Coordinate with colleagues to ensure communication protocols are developed and implemented that reflect the professionalism and expertise of the Water Foundation.
• Compose general correspondence, letters and memos relating to grants and contract administration.
• Proofread and edit documents with a critical eye for style, grammar, consistency, punctuation and sentence structure, making corrections or recommendations for changes as necessary.

Grants and Contracts Manager

• Serve as a key ally and strategic partner to the Executive Director and build a culture of philanthropy with staff and the Board of Directors
• Create annual development goals and plans that align with our mission, manage the execution of the plan, and ensure goals are met.
• Diversify the revenue stream by: Creating the vision, strategy and plan for a robust individual donor program.
• Strategizing how to grow online giving and streamline donor acknowledgment.
• Identifying potential new major institutional donors.
• Create and manage clear success metrics, holding yourself and others accountable for achieving those goals, and develop periodic reports on progress.
• Manage and oversee the relationship with an external grant writing firm which is responsible for prospecting, grant writing, reporting and submission of proposals.
• Develop and steward relationships with funding partners, in collaboration with the Executive Director and program staff.
• Engage with Board members on fundraising initiatives and present fundraising reports at regular Board meetings.
• Strategize with the Executive Director, Leadership Team and program staff to identify, qualify and prioritize prospects and funders and facilitate relationship development through regular communications and a calendar of touch-points.
• Stay abreast of campaigns, program initiatives and affiliate successes.
• Collaborate with the Communications team to craft compelling periodic appeals and communications with potential donors.
• Oversee the management of the awards and reporting process for PowerSwitch Action’s subgrants to affiliates.
• With the Executive Director, monitor fundraising opportunities for affiliates (not responsible for direct fundraising for affiliates).

Development Director

• Develop the strategic direction into a strategic plan with two-year implementation strategies in coordination with coalition co-chairs and leadership.
• Establish and deliver on clear goals, objectives, and tactics as established in the strategic plan, and delivering on high-impact campaigns.
• Help identify and advance strategic partnerships with global allies, building a coalition of the willing among U.S. state and local leaders to engage internationally.
• Design and oversee a measurement and evaluation effort to ensure impact, effectiveness, and alignment with strategic goals.
• Identify gaps and opportunities to add capacity to the field.
• Hire and manage a team of approximately 10 staff with expertise spanning coalition building, international climate diplomacy, communications, campaign management, research, private-public partnerships, and events.
• Oversee all aspects of All In’s internal management and programs, including both domestic and international workstreams.
• Ensure alignment between All In’s governance and execution.
• Manage organizational relationships with consultants, contractors, and technical assistance providers.
• Cultivate and maintain a positive staff culture and model collaboration.
• Lead the development of an external engagement strategy that positions All In as the authoritative voice of U.S. subnational climate leadership.
