About the role
- Lead strategy for NPR’s principal giving program
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of principal gift prospects
- Conduct high-level prospect research and strategy development
- Manage a portfolio of principal gift prospects and donors
- Design and execute customized cultivation and solicitation strategies
- Ensure exceptional stewardship of principal donors through high-touch engagement
Requirements
- Minimum 10–12 years of fundraising experience
- Significant experience securing major and principal gifts
- Demonstrated success soliciting and closing gifts of $1M+, experience pursuing gifts of $5M+ preferred
- Proven ability to cultivate relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals
- Strong collaboration skills with senior executives and board members
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
