About the role
- Greet patients and customers as they enter the store, identify needs for an easy and memorable experience
- Assist patients and customers in choosing eyewear that fits their budget and eye care needs
- Troubleshoot and identify problems related to prescriptions
- Resolve customer complaints, diffuse unsatisfied patients, and provide solutions
- Attain sales goals while complying with company and local policies and procedures
- Adhere to quality control standards including OSHA and safety requirements
- Ensure brand standards by performing housekeeping duties when necessary
- Measure, fit, and adapt lenses and frames for clients
- Execute customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames and ensure timely delivery of eyeglasses
- Ensure brand standards are met in the lab area, notify management of equipment malfunctions
- Keep track of delivery time commitments to ensure compliance
Requirements
- 1+ year of proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service while exceeding sales goals in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
- Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Valid ABO/NCLE and/or State license in the applicable State
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Passionate about outstanding customer/patient care and eager to share that passion with others
- Strong interest in learning, embracing and fostering innovation among your team
