About the role

  • Lead the development and execution of regulatory advocacy strategies in collaboration with the Global Regulatory Advocacy team, business units, Public Affairs, R&D, Sustainability, and other internal stakeholders
  • Identify, monitor, and assess global regulatory changes and initiatives that may impact Novonesis’ business
  • Planning and delivering outreach to regulators and decision-makers, including organizing meetings, drafting position papers, and representing Novonesis in relevant external forums
  • Drive the digital transformation of the Global Regulatory Advocacy team, including the implementation and optimization of digital tools and platforms for stakeholder communication, knowledge sharing, and advocacy activities
  • Communicate complex regulatory topics clearly and concisely to both internal and external audience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key regulatory authorities, industry associations, and other stakeholders to advance Novonesis’ advocacy agenda

Requirements

  • M.Sc. in a natural science discipline (biology, agronomy, engineering, chemistry, or similar), or a relevant M.Sc. in political science or a comparable field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in regulatory affairs
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with regulators and key decision-makers at national and international levels
  • Proven ability to drive digital initiatives, including the use of digital communication tools and platforms to support stakeholder engagement and team effectiveness
  • A strategic mindset combined with strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
