About the role
- Perform in-depth market research and analysis to gain an external perspective on model evolution, access dynamics, and competitive activities
- Lead the development of a comprehensive alternative model strategy
- Accountable for strategically managing the alternative model to ensure its ongoing evolution
- Lead in the creation of an integrated access care model
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive framework to evaluate pathways and collaborations
- Explore new and innovative revenue opportunities within the alternative model market
- Assess new opportunities solutions thoroughly
- Work closely with MAPA, Marketing, Patient Solutions (MPS), along with other cross-functional teams
- Define KPIs to measure the success and effectiveness of the alternative model strategy
- Establish a process for ongoing monitoring and assessment of strategy performance
- Present clear data driven insights and recommendations
- Identify risks to alternative model and pathway strategies
- Facilitate open communication channels to foster collaboration
- Create communication strategies to convey the vision and progress of the alternative model strategy
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience
- MBA, PharmD, or another advanced degree preferred
- A minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in strategy development and strategy execution, with a strong focus on enterprise, commercial strategy, or business development
- Experience in diverse sectors, including but not limited to pharmaceuticals, healthcare, CPG, and retail is valuable
- An advanced degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience
- Demonstrated ability to understand and navigate the interconnected nature of various functional areas
- Proficient in analyzing data and market trends
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Requires leadership skills with the ability to develop and communicate a strategic vision
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Proven capability to lead large, cross-functional project teams
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and evolving dynamics within the industry
