About the role
- Review accounts payable transactions and related supporting evidence to ensure compliance with internal finance policies and local statutory requirements
- Prepare supplementary documentation for monthly and yearly closings and for external audit, internal audit, customs audit, tax reviews, and internal control assessments
- Maintain GL accounts in AP-related systems such as ICE, SAP HANA, and Coupa
- Improve and strengthen AP processes by collaborating with GBS (India) and lead global AP-related projects
- Independently perform quarterly VAT reconciliations and filings; manage withholding tax reconciliations, filings, and payments; and support corporate income tax return preparation
- Act as super user for global systems including ICE, Coupa, SAP HANA, and Concur; provide employee training on AP processes and handle ad-hoc accounting and treasury tasks as required.
Requirements
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Experience with procurement processes in Coupa
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Korean
- Self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent time management
