About the role
- Design and develop scalable data solutions by building robust applications and pipelines for data extraction, transformation, ingestion, and management that support analytics, reporting, and operational use cases
- Ensure high-quality and optimised data engineering processes by applying best practices, conducting testing and validation, and delivering solutions that meet reliability, scalability, and performance standards
- Provision data for analytics, AI, and ML by preparing, managing, and delivering high-quality datasets for traditional reporting, advanced analytics, AI/ML development, and broader business needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver data products that support strategic and operational goals
- Drive technical excellence within the Data & ML Engineering area by representing the cluster in cross-functional settings, mentoring junior colleagues, and continuously improving engineering methods, techniques, and approaches
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- Strong proficiency in cloud computing platforms and data/scripting programming languages (e.g., Python, Scala)
- Hands‑on experience building data pipelines, embedding retrieval/feature stores, and working with orchestration tools, version control and CI/CD
- Deep expertise in ETL processes, data pipeline architecture, and designing scalable data applications
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and collaborative, cross-functional project delivery
