About the role
- Driving the development of suitable primary packaging solutions for Novo Nordisk medical drug product projects
- Development of primary packaging systems such as cartridges/syringes/vials from early project initiation phase to submission to market
- Prepare and review technical documentation, specifications; support material selection and production readiness
- Act as system responsible, conduct risk assessments, create interface specifications and tolerance chain calculations, and review CCI/IH documentation
- Lead regulatory updates, drive process improvements, deliver training and mentoring of colleagues
- Drive cross functional technical collaboration, act as subject matter expert, coordinate tasks, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners
Requirements
- A master’s degree with 5-7 years of experience, or a Bachelor with 8-11 years of experience with primary packaging for pharmaceutical products or development of medical devices/combination products
- A PhD with 3-4 years of similar experience can be an advantage
- Experience in several of the following areas: development of medical devices or combination products, container closure systems, mechanical design, concept development, robust design methods, supplier collaboration, and project coordination
- Strong adaptability and ability to manage shifting priorities in a dynamic project environment
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
