About the role

  • Planning
  • Assign personnel to workstations and tasks according to department needs (continuous improvement, training, etc.), including managing shift rotation
  • Monitor the execution of planned activities and ensure information exchange between team members and the department
  • Perform regular checks on adherence to the schedule and implement corrective actions in case of deviations
  • Performance management
  • Define KPIs (key performance indicators) and operational objectives
  • Monitor the department’s objectives, assignments and deliverables on a daily basis, ensuring they are met on time, within cost, quality, safety and required quantity
  • Monitor performance against the department’s key indicators (productivity, quality, lead time, etc.) and report performance deviations
  • Ensure the department’s deliverables comply with applicable regulations (GMP, labor regulations, corporate guidelines, ISO, etc.)
  • Analyze and implement an organization to resolve quality, safety and performance gaps in the service
  • Be responsible for the continuous improvement process and its implementation
  • Lead problem resolution for relevant department activities (clarification, control of deviations)
  • Coaching / Process confirmation
  • Define the short-term strategy of the department in line with the overall objectives
  • Set objectives for team members and operational KPIs according to department strategy
  • Ensure work standards are respected and carry out process confirmations
  • Coach and develop team members’ skills
  • Challenge inappropriate behavior and apply disciplinary policy when necessary
  • Team management
  • Assess competencies, identify and manage training needs for team members
  • Share the department’s direction and strategy to ensure team engagement
  • Ensure recruitment of team members
  • Monitor individual development progress and provide feedback on performance
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to team members’ quality of work life
  • Carry out administrative tasks related to people management.

Requirements

  • You hold a 2-to-3-year post-secondary degree (Bac+2/3) or equivalent experience.
  • You have at least 2 years of team management experience in an industrial environment, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • You have good knowledge of logistics tools such as SAP or a WMS.
  • You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • You are curious, proactive, versatile and flexible.
  • You demonstrate rigor and autonomy and can communicate effectively with all types of stakeholders.
  • You know how to develop and coach a team, and you can unite, motivate and engage your colleagues.
