About the role
- Lead scientific oversight of Phase IIIb/IV trials and real-world evidence programs across Global Medical Affairs
- Develop study concepts, protocols, and reports aligned with integrated evidence plans
- Deliver impactful, fit-for-purpose evidence solutions with scientific rigor and strategic alignment
- Shape product medical strategy through expert evidence planning and cross-functional collaboration
- Engage with global stakeholders including KOLs, advisory boards, and patient advocacy groups
- Drive partnerships with academic institutes, medical societies, and payer bodies for research collaborations
- Lead and motivate evidence generation sub-team and foster talent development
- Operate within global matrix environment and influence cross-functional stakeholders
Requirements
- Advanced degree in life sciences or healthcare (required)
- MBA or equivalent (preferred)
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in pharma, academic research, or healthcare with focus on evidence generation
- Proven expertise in interventional and non-interventional trial design
- Proven expertise in real-world evidence methodologies
- Strong understanding of drug development
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Demonstrated success operating in global matrix environments with strong collaboration and influencing skills
- Experience engaging with KOLs, advisory boards, and patient advocacy groups
- Experience driving partnerships with academic institutes, medical societies, and payer bodies
