About the role
- Advise financial institutions on a broad range of transactional and regulatory matters
- Counsel financial service providers on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, licensing and distribution requirements, regulatory investigations, and other corporate matters.
Requirements
- Be a member in good standing of a Canadian bar;
- Have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar position in private practice;
- Possess strong organizational skills;
- Demonstrate business acumen and the ability to build excellent client relationships;
- Have strong attention to detail;
- Show a high level of intellectual curiosity and a willingness to take initiative;
- Have excellent teamwork skills;
- Demonstrate effective priority management and the ability to work well under pressure.
