About the role
- Join Northrop Grumman’s Propulsion Systems & Controls team within the Weapon Systems Division
- Position located at Defense Systems Sector in Elkton, MD; Palm Beach Gardens, FL; or Huntsville, AL
- Learn new skills, explore the enterprise, network with experts, and connect with thought leaders
- Support global customers with technology, systems, and solutions to enable their missions
- Participate in training and employee resource groups and complete project work during the internship
Requirements
- Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026.
- Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- Preferred: Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
- Clearance Type: Secret
- Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time
